Nick De La Torre

Catholic Author • Speaker • Radio Host • podcaster • Musician

A classically trained vocalist, Nick spent much of his youth aspiring to become an opera singer. That is, until he encountered the Lord. Nick gave up the career he had been working towards to become a youth minister, then church music director, then pastoral associate, then director of marriage and family life ministries for the Diocese of Toledo.

Nick was the co-host of the internationally acclaimed podcast “The Catholic SIP,” and hosted a 3 minute daily scripture reflection called “Awaken the Word” heard on Catholic radio stations around the country and online. He has served as musician and speaker for retreats, conferences, and events with Dynamic Catholic, Renewal Ministries, Extraordinary Mission, Life Teen, and the Hallow app.

Nick is the author of the book, The Eucharist: The Ultimate Love Story Unveiled. He hosts “Morning Joy,” which broadcasts nationally every weekday on the Guadalupe Radio Network and affiliates over radio, and internationally online. Nick also composes music with his wife, Alina. Their most precious creations though, are their four children.
